The National Archives provides Veterans Service Records. Through their website, Veterans may look up or request new military service records. Vets may also request replacements for lost medals and awards. Geneological searches of ancestry are also available.
The Village of Port Dickinson Town Clerk maintains all of the birth, death, marriage and divorce records and certificates. They also issue permits and licenses such as: dog, fishing, hunting and handicap parking. The Clerk's office is located at 786 Chenango Street in Binghamton.

DMV provides non-drivers license identification cards as well as being a sponsor of the "Moto Voter" program. DMV is open from 8:30am-4:15pm every weekday except for Thursdays when the hours are 8:30am-7:15pm.
DMV operates three satellite offices for public convenience. The East Greenbush DMV satellite office is open on Mondays from 9:00am-3:00pm at the East Greenbush Town Hall at 225 Columbia Turnpike. The Schodack DMV satellite office is open on Tuesdays from 9:00am-3:00pm at the Schodack Town Hall at 1777 Columbia Turnpike. The Hoosick Falls DMV satellite office is open on Wednesdays from 10:00am-2:00pm at the John J. Murphy Senior Center.
