Through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), for areas declared disaster areas, there may be grants for basic home repairs and/or rental assistance; low interest loans for renters, homeowners, and businesses; and grants for serious disaster-related needs and expenses such as appliances and furniture.
