Crisis Services; Medical Managed Detoxification
The United (UHS) Southern Tier Drug Abuse Treatment Center offers drug and alcohol rehabilitation with the primary focus on substance abuse treatment. Provides outpatient methadone maintenance and counseling for opiate addiction.
The clinic provides timely and holistic services that respect the biological, psychological, social and spiritual nature of addiction and its impact on the clients, their families, and the community. The primary addiction services include: chemical dependency evaluation, groups, individual sessions, medical assessment, Suboxone, Buprenorphine and Naltrexone medication management, and case management services including referrals to vocational, educational, psychological and medical supports.

In response to clients struggling with barriers to accessing treatment services the Baywood Center began offering services within the community. Our trained licensed therapist will assess the barriers of any client struggling to obtain substance use disorder treatment and develop a plan with the client to help them obtain services. Our community outreach counselor is fully mobile and able to meet clients outside of the traditional office setting. • Twenty permanent housing units for adults with a substance use disorder diagnosis.
• Participants are placed in commuity housing, using a "housing first" approach.
• Once housing is secured, participants are linked to appropriate treatment and services.
Crisis Services; Med Sup Withdrawal - Inpatient
Services offered include education, information and referral. A lending library of books,videos and other reference materials is available. The Council can provide referrals toarea counselors.
“This program is designed for patients that need simultaneous treatment for both substance use and mental health disorders. The Compass Program addresses the obstacles encountered by patients and uses an evidenced-based treatment program to educate on how substance use can change emotions, behaviors, thinking and perception, and can trigger, mask, or mimic mental health symptoms. Beacon Center also offers medication management and monitoring through our Clinic Psychiatrist and/or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.”
METHODS OF PAYMENT: Works with many insurances, and insurance can be set up at location. Cash also accepted. First visit for self-pay costs $195. Price goes down in subsequent visits. An evaluation can take 2-3 sessions.
The Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council of Delaware County is pleased to offer our county schools several programs and activities. We are committed to working with our community organizations in order to promote healthy decision-making and create a safe and drug free school and community.
In addition to prevention curriculums, we are proud to offer information and referrals, as well as other school activities.
Please keep in mind that we are willing to accommodate your schedules and that many of the programs and activities can be paid for through Safe and Drug Free School monies.
