Mutual support groups whose members are individuals who have difficulty controlling their compulsion to spend money they do not have. The groups provide emotional support, information and resources to help participants overcome their addiction to shopping and come to terms with their indebtedness.
Offers support to individuals who have experienced a loss. Methods for coping from life's losses. Loss of loved one, loss of pet, loss of a job, divorce or loss of a body part. Sharing with others who are grieving. Confidential. Videos. Discussion. Listening. Sharing-on participants terms. Access to information of the grieving process Opportunity for receiving and sharing information regarding the grief journey through literature, videos, discussions, guest speakers, relaxation techniques, and in a peaceful, safe setting where individual confidentiality is protected. The Care Net Pregnancy Center offers abortion recovery on a support group or individual basis. Services are free and open to everyone.
The Christian Care Center at the Watertown Urban Mission is a walk-in center that serves as a place of acceptance and growth for anyone, starting with a free cup of coffee five days a week.
It is through the center that your Mission provides educational and spiritual growth opportunities. The center oversees Bible study programs throughout the week, plus a weekly budgeting class on Tuesdays and a Couponing class on the first and third Wednesday of every month. Plus, every third Friday of the month from September through May is the Christian Care Café concert series at 7 p.m. with live music, refreshments and snacks at no cost, except a free will offering to help pay our performers.
So if you’re looking to share in some fellowship, improve your life, or even have the opportunity for prayer and bible study, stop by for a free cup of coffee. Enjoy the company of some great volunteers and be a part of your Watertown Urban Mission’s Christian Care Center.

The stroke support group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 6p.m. to 7:30p.m.
This support group is an interactive seminar led by specialists and designed for stroke survivors and their caregivers. The group provides a variety of educational, emotional and social activities. Free parking.
FARNY is dedicated to meeting the needs of individuals diagnosed with Fibromyalgia by supporting, educating and informing patients, families, professionals, and the public concerning the nature of this illness and the resources available for self-help. FARNY'S focus is on enabling Fibro folks and their families and friends to increase their life-enhancing optimism and their Awareness of traditional and complementary treatments
