Who May Ride: Town of New Scotland residents 62+
Description: Curb-to curb service provides rides within 15 miles of New Scotland Town Hall in the following priority: medical, geriatric daycare, therapy appointments, groceries, hair appointments, and voting. No transportation to employment or religious services. The Town also sponsors a number of trips, programs, and outings.
Service Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm.
Can Accommodate: Wheelchairs, service animals, people with limited or no vision. Please bring an aide to assist you.
To Schedule: Reservations can be made by calling the Senior Outreach Coordinator at 518-439-9038, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3pm. Please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible.
Fees: This program relies on volunteer drivers and donations from riders. No fee is charged; a suggested donation is $5 each way for out-of-town trips and a few dollars each way within town. If you do not have the means, you will never be denied a ride.
