Screens interviews, trains, and places volunteers in Red Cross affilated volunteer programs including hospitals, bloodmobiles, health and safety instructors, national, local disaster services and office work, Call for application and/or interview.
Volunteer opportunities for individuals or groups, such as schools, houses of worship, local clubs, etc to help with a variety of activities from heavy lifting to light office work. Not applicable
Recruits lawyers who are interested in volunteering their time and expertise to help non-profit agencies with legal questions, guidance, and representation. Call for details
Senior Club
A program where they train parents or individuals what they should be observing and make placements with the help of Westchester County's Office for the Developmentally Disabled. Once in the placements, volunteers are another set of eyes to overlook the care and programming that children with developmental disabilities are receiving. Volunteers are given placements near their homes. The volunteers are asked to make visits at least once a week, attend monthly meetings about any problems that they may have and write simple monthly reports. They continue to need all the volunteers that they can get. Not applicable
Senior club
Provides a variety of volunteer opportunities in the areas of office work, holiday bell ringers for the red bucket stations, and working with the youth music program. Call for details
