Alcohol/Substance Abuse Program

  • Description:

    Provides drug/alcohol assessments for offenders who were court ordered to participate in an assessment. Offers treatment alternatives for offenders facing a jail or prison sentence who have indicators of having a problem with alcohol and/or other drugs. Monitors and reports to the court offenders’ compliance with their treatment recommendations.

    Provides a drug/alcohol education class for young offenders.

    Target Population:Offenders 16 and up who are court ordered to complete a drug/alcohol evaluation. Incarcerated offenders who are identified by the pre-trial coordinator to have indicators of problems with alcohol and/or drugs. Juveniles who are ordered/referred to complete a drug / alcohol evaluation by family court, probation and/or social services.
