CIDNY provides a variety of services for people with disabilities in New York City. Our benefits counselors can help you find and keep the appropriate package of health care coverage, food stamps, Social Security and other benefits so that you can maintain your independence. We can work with you to explain which benefits you are eligible for and then help you navigate complicated application procedures. Our housing specialists can help you understand public and private housing and how to search for an apartment in New York City. CIDNY provides assistance if you are working to apply for or maintain vocational education opportunities and we work with young people to help you create and meet your goals for moving from school to adult life.
