Supplemental Needs "Pooled" Trust

    If you are over income for Medicaid but could benefit from the home care services provided a Supplemental Needs Trust is an option that allows those with a disability to protect and still access their excess income and/or assets that prevent them from receiving Medicaid or other means tested government programs.

    These trust programs are available to those who are disabled as defined by Social Security. The trust can help someone access Community Medicaid. There are fees and enrollment costs to establish and maintain a trust.
